It happened in 2022. And it’s happened again this year. Centorrino Technologies (CT) has been named one of Australia’s Best Workplaces™ for a medium-sized company.

The Best Workplaces list is compiled by Great Place To Work® – the ‘Global Authority on Workplace Culture’. Employees are surveyed to uncover actionable insights, so that organisations, such as CT, can be recognised for their great company culture.

Our reappearance on this year’s list has cause for further celebration, with us having been ranked two places higher than last year, coming in at number 21.

CT CEO, Adam Centorrino, is proud of this feat, and maintaining an award-winning workplace where our 250+ employees continue to thrive.

“Delivering managed services, IT, hardware, eLearning, cloud services, networking, and cybersecurity to over 23,000 users, is a challenge,” confirmed Adam. “But when you shape a workplace to support a capable, committed, and compassionate team, those challenges become innovations that, in turn, lead to the 99% customer retention rate and customer service satisfaction rate we continue to achieve, year upon year.” – Adam Centorrino, CEO

Andrew (Andy) Rankin has been with the company for over 10 years. Starting out as a Service Desk Analyst, Andy advanced into the role of CT’s Chief Customer Officer, overseeing CT-customer partnerships, driving superior customer satisfaction, and ensuring customer relationships equal true partnerships. He believes his success has been largely due to the CT culture and the growth opportunities it presents.

“My strengths in managing human interaction and engagement were personally identified by Adam,” said Andy. “And so, the role of Chief Customer Officer was created for me to implement my skills and continue developing in an area that really resonated with me. As an organisation, CT is continually seeking opportunity for growth and learning, starting within – with its staff.”

“Our tailored mentoring programs support each staff member’s professional development plan, so they may continuously work to enhance their strengths and excel within their chosen career paths. And our new Reward and Recognition Program ensures that everyone is given a purpose, and everyone is recognised for their efforts and achievements.”

“There is no exclusion and no level of importance. We are all treated equally as we all play an important part in delivering high-quality customer service. This is our One Team mentality.” – Andy Rankin

We are also very committed to diversity, helping to bridge the gender gap that currently exists within the IT sector by actively seeking growth opportunities for women that may otherwise not be found. We’ll also soon launch our Reconciliation Action Plan, so we may help increase economic equity and support First Nations self-determination. Furthermore, our ESG policies and accreditations see our team continually supporting the good and actively involved in the community.

“We’re continuously creating an internal culture of connection, quality, support, learning, trust, engagement and transparency to ensure these qualities are transferred to our customers,” said Adam. “Every one of our organisational team members is genuinely passionate about being the best we can be for ourselves, and our customers, and we’ll never stop striving to be better.”

CT was also recently revealed as a top 25 listee – and the only Managed Services Provider – on the Australia’s Best Workplaces™ in Technology for 2023 list. And, in December 2022, the organisation once again achieved its Great Place to Work® Certification, attaining an overall employee satisfaction rating of 94%.

We congratulate all our staff for their loyalty, commitment, and team spirit in helping to make this, and our other achievements, possible!
