SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

We measure our success by how we positively impact people, society, and the planet.

As a local Australian business that is 100% Australian owned and operated, we maintain three key principles as part of our Social Responsibility:

  • Support Local Jobs
  • Support the next generation of Australians
  • Support those less fortunate than ourselves
Australia First

Australia First Supply Chain

Supporting local small businesses is an important step as part of Australia’s economic response and we have always been committed to doing our part. We use local small businesses as part of our supply chain for the supply of trades and services as well as stationery and office supplies with a preference for Australian made goods where possible.

Australian Based Team

100% Australian Based Team

As an organisation committed to supporting our local economy and Australian jobs, 100% of our team are based onshore. We do not outsource any of our operations to offshore organisations.

Traineeship Program

As part of our commitment to supporting our local economy and local jobs, we maintain a trainee program which supports trainees by providing paid and meaningful experience working in our organisation. Whilst trainee places are limited, we seek to provide our trainees with ongoing employment post their traineeship where possible. Contact us for more information about our traineeship program.

Scholarship and Academic Awards Support

Each year we sponsor over twenty academic achievement awards that recognise excellence in an academic discipline. Further, we support a group of students from underprivileged families through the provision of technology and financial scholarships to ensure that their learning is not disadvantaged as a result of their socio-economic background. These scholarships are paid directly to the eligible schools.

Fundraising Program

We understand that schools rely upon the generosity of the local community in order to raise money to help fund their educational programs and as such, we are pleased to support these initiatives for over thirty schools each year. We provide donations in the form of goods, services and funds to eligible schools which are then utilised to enhance student learning outcomes in the classroom.

Supporting the Community

We are proud to of our ongoing efforts to supporting local community, not for profit and purpose run organizations through a combination of resources, financial support and expertise. These philanthropic endeavours have been part of our DNA since inception. Some of the organisations we support are:

As well as many primary and secondary schools through donations towards their fundraising activities and the provision of scholarships to underprivileged students.

OUR COMMITMENT

Our Response to the Modern Slavery Act

At CT, we are committed to operating our business lawfully and ethically; and only working with suppliers that are aligned to our values. As part of our broader commitment to human rights, we continue to develop our approach and focus on preventing and addressing modern slavery and human trafficking related risk. We achieve this through the ongoing risk identification and performance monitoring of our business operations combined with seeking assurances from our suppliers that they too conform to our values and approach to modern slavery. A copy of our Modern Slavery Statement is available upon request.
